WAG County Steel & Classic Challenge Qualifier - 14 September 2025
Well done to all the gymnasts who competed at the County Steel and Classic Challenge individuals yesterday.
Zinc
Amy was in the 11+ competition and took a silver ribbon on floor and competed her cast to handstand for the first time.
Copper
in the 13yrs+ competition Violet got a silver ribbon on vault and bronze ribbon on floor and bars with Jemima placing just outisde the apparatus ribbons with 5th on bars and floor.
Silver
Ethel and Betty were in the 12/13yrs age group with Ethel receiving the AA trophy and gold across the apparatue with Betty in silver position. Ethel also received the Jenni Morgan trophy for the highest AA score at silver, the Ross Grant trophy for the highest beam score and jointly received the Peter Grand trophy for the highest score on floor.
FIG Junior
Holly came first AA with gold across the appartus and recieved theColin Green trophy for the highest score on bars.
Steel
in their first individual voluntaries Pixie and Olivia put in great effort and performances and even though they weren't in the medals had a super competition.
